Those beliefs are not unwarranted do several spectacular design features such as there ring drive which largely removes all radial load from the hub shell, custom made conical bearings which help reduce side load, over sized axles which reduce flex and a clever bearing support mechanism which distributes load evenly amongst all bearings.
